tagworldchampslogo.jpgDJ Ortiz is tuning for Cole Glasson at the 2008 TAG World Finals at Grand Junction Motor Speedway in Colorado this weekend.

Saturday Sep. 20th
Cole Glasson qualified 4th and won the Heat 1 race on Saturday Sep 20th. Cole finished almost 5 seconds ahead of Alexander Kardashian who placed 2nd. Heat 1 results can be viewed on MyLaps.

Sunday Sep. 21st
Cole was out in the 9th lap of the TAG Cadet 10 lap pre-final which put him in 10th place. Cole finished the final heat in 4th place.Sunday's results can be viewed on MyLaps.

Cole also finished 4th in the IAME Cadet class on Sunday!  It was an exciting 15 lap race with a Lemans style start, with a full course yellow every 5 laps. In the prefinal Cole led 14 of 15 laps and came in second battling the whole way to take back the lead. In the final, he jumped out to the lead and traded leads the whole way and had a bad start in the final five laps and fell to fifth, but got back as high as second and finished 4th. It was a close race due to the full course yellow flags and the top four came across the finish line as a freight train!
