Beason Wins at Gulfcoast Speedway

Jonathan Beason of Broken Arrow, Ok driving the BA Lawn Care Stealth/Gearte won Saturday night's final Southern States Midget Association feature at Gulfcoast Speedway in Alvin, Texas. Beason took the lead at the start from his front row starting position and never looked back as he led all 20 laps of the feature around the tight, fast 1/8 mile track. Danny Burke of Houston, Texas finished second to Beason with Roland Ayo close on his tail. Doug McCune and Evan Pardo rounded out the top 5. Doug McCune Secured his first Southern States Midget Association Championship with his fourth place finish.
